Psychotherapy

Hourly sessions deep dive into the obstacles that prevent you from living your best life. We review, refine and clear limiting beliefs.  We focus most on the mind. We use mental techniques and strategies in psychoeducation, depth therapy (where we work with the unconscious), cognitive-behavioural (where we address feelings by sourcing and modifying underlying thoughts), and mindfulness-based approaches (where we learn to accept the things that are beyond our control).

Holistic psychotherapy uses an eclectic mix of approaches to treat the whole person- mind, body, and spirit, while traditional therapy focuses mainly on the mind. 

Holistic therapy can address existing symptoms and prevent continued symptoms by creating a more balanced way of life for you.

Mind-Body

Hourly sessions offer insight into your mind-body connection. Sessions include lifestyle counseling, where you create a holistic plan of nutrition, movement, and wellness practices to support you in feeling your best.

We use guided visualizations and emotional clearing techniques to focus on energy in the body, such as tapping (EFT) and Reiki. Metaphysical, eastern, and aboriginal teachings offer a broader perspective on understanding and healing yourself.

 
 

Spirituality

Hourly sessions explore more profound questions of meaning and purpose while resolving spiritual wounds and examining and/or establishing faith-based practices.

We focus on the soulful exploration of your personal beliefs and guiding frameworks, including resolving existential issues and ‘dark night of the soul’ experiences. We create a plan of spiritual growth and autonomy.

How do the sessions work?

Every session is tailored to you and involves your values, experiences, and goals with ongoing check-ins of your experience and process in therapy, amplifying what is working, minimizing obstacles, and establishing when therapy is no longer needed.

How we move through treatment depends on your pace, goals, and individual healing process.

Our work can focus on one of the individual offerings - psychotherapy, naturotherapy, and spiritual direction, or you may pursue the in-depth holistic experience through an integrated approach.

  • There’s no one-size-fits-all to therapy. That’s what makes it so unique - the unknown with the hope of discovery.

    Our first session allows us to get to know each other and make a treatment plan, discuss your concerns, gather the timeline around your concerns and explore what has and what has not worked. We discuss your family history, nutrition, and daily practices to understand your routine better.  Together we create a plan for your treatment. 

  • Some people may have an acute concern that can be addressed in four sessions. A bout of anxiety or depression can require 12-20 sessions. More complex symptoms can require a year or two. And longstanding patterns can take several years. We work until the issue resolves or the symptoms go away.  Sessions can run anywhere from a weekly to monthly basis, and they can range from 60 to 90 minutes.

  • Some services are covered under some insurance plans. You will need to inquire directly with your provider to determine the scope of services and the percentage covered.

    Contact Form: If we have availability, we will notify you of some options for booking. You can let us know which works best for you and secure your session by providing your credit card information to leave on file. 

  • Payment for your session is due the day of the appointment. It is $190 for a 60-minute session. Payment can be made via e-transfer to info@carladaniels.ca, or credit card. 

  • If you cannot make your session, please provide 24 business hours notice to prevent a late cancellation charge at the regular session rate. Your credit card will be processed for the missed session unless other arrangements are made.
