Hourly sessions dive deep into the obstacles that prevent you from living your best life. We review, refine and clear limiting beliefs. We focus most on the mind. We use mental techniques and strategies in psychoeducation, depth therapy (where we work with the unconscious), cognitive-behavioural (where we address feelings by sourcing and modifying underlying thoughts), and mindfulness-based approaches (where we learn to accept the things that are beyond our control).
Holistic Psychotherapy
Understanding holistic psychotherapy and traditional psychotherapy
Holistic psychotherapy uses an eclectic mix of approaches to treat the whole person- mind, body, and spirit, while traditional therapy focuses mainly on the mind. Holistic therapy can address existing symptoms and prevent continued symptoms by creating a more balanced way of life for you.
What We Do in Holistic Psychotherapy
Unlock Your Potential: Clear away limiting beliefs to broaden your perspective and gain the freedom to choose your own path.
Transform Your Inner World: Explore your unconscious mind to uncover and heal old patterns that no longer serve you.
Reframe Your Story: Reconnect with your core values and beliefs, operating from a place that feels true to you—not the standards imposed by others.
Holistic Wellness: Design a personalized wellness plan that supports you in thriving—in the essence of who you truly are.
Cultivate Calm in the Hard Places: Mindfulness helps you stay grounded during difficult times, even when the situations are hard or the answers aren’t easy.
Who is This Therapy For?
This therapeutic approach is designed for individuals seeking deep healing, self-discovery, and meaningful transformation in their lives. You may find this work resonates with you if you identify with one or more of the following:
❍ Highly Sensitive Individuals (HSPs): Understand the intersections of your mind and personality, use your sensitivities as strengths, and learn how to manage boundaries and energy effectively in a busy world.
❍ Navigators of Life Transitions: Whether it’s a new job, relationship, stage of life, or parenthood, therapy helps you navigate the stress of uncertainty, change, and outdated narratives that no longer fit your current lived experience.
❍ Caregivers and Protectors: Men who get lost in providing and protecting, and women who feel depleted from constantly loving and trying to “help” others—this therapy helps you reconnect with yourself and reclaim your energy.
❍ Inner Child Healing: For those feeling stuck in old patterns and behaviors that prevent you from living fully in the present, and you desire more joy, play, and creativity.
❍ Spiritual Seekers: Whether you've lost, found, or are seeking deeper meaning, this space supports you in finding a spiritual perspective that aligns with your personal values and helps guide your life.
This work is especially impactful for those who are ready to take an active role in their healing journey and are open to exploring both the practical and the deeper aspects of living.
The therapeutic approach includes
INNER CHILD WORK
Looks at your self-concept, including your self-worth, rooted in your childhood. Attending to and healing early childhood wounds and reframing internalized messages from family through acknowledgment and re-parenting. This approach also draws on aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS) to facilitate inner dialogue and inner integration among all our precious parts.
COGNITIVE-BEHAVIORAL WORK
Explores how your mind shapes reality. Identifying beliefs or recurring and unhelpful thoughts puts you in a position to change them. The hallmark of this work is identifying the most common and unhelpful patterns and reframing them through a diverse set of mental techniques.
MIND-BODY WORK
By tuning into your body’s wisdom, you will discover hidden messages vital for your growth and healing. Learn to craft affirmations that honor your unique path and energy practices to help recalibrate your nervous system, release energy blocks, and create space for transformation.
PSYCHOEDUCATION
Develops your knowledge about anxiety and depression from evolutionary, physiological, and metaphysical perspectives. Knowledge is power and creates opportunities to move away from self-judgment and toward empowerment.
PSYCHODYNAMIC
Uses free association, early childhood memories, and dream exploration to assist with understanding your inner world and addressing longstanding repetitive patterns that no longer serve you.
What clients say
How do the sessions work?
Every session is tailored to you and involves your values, experiences, and goals with ongoing check-ins of your experience and process in therapy, amplifying what is working, minimizing obstacles, and establishing when therapy is no longer needed.
How we move through treatment depends on your pace, goals, and individual healing process.
Our work can focus on one of the individual offerings - psychotherapy, naturotherapy, and spiritual direction, or you may pursue the in-depth holistic experience through an integrated approach.
