About Me
A Path Woven with Psychology & Spirit
My work has always been guided by curiosity: Why do we carry what we carry? And how do we return to who we truly are beneath the layers of expectation, pain, and performance?
I began with psychology—earning my Honours degree at the University of New Brunswick and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. I trained psychodynamically, learning how early relationships and unconscious patterns quietly shape the way we live and love.
But I also knew healing couldn’t live in the mind alone. Over time, I sought out other traditions that spoke to the body, the spirit, and the cycles of nature:
Traditional Chinese Medicine — reminding me that balance is found in the elements, not in perfection.
Ayurveda — teaching that our constitution (dosha) guides how we nourish, rest, and live in rhythm.
Kundalini Yoga (RYT200) — awakening me to the power of mantra, breath, and sound to shift our inner world.
Indigenous Teachings — grounding me in the truth of interconnectedness and the guidance of animal medicine.
Each of these practices expanded my framework and deepened my belief that healing is not linear—it’s cyclical, layered, and alive.
The Work I Do Today
Now, I weave together psychology and ancient wisdom to create a holistic space for growth and transformation. Whether through psychotherapy, coaching, or my programs, I support clients in reconnecting with their deepest truths, breaking inherited patterns, and building a life rooted in meaning.
I believe sensitivity is strength, that the body holds our wisdom, and that the soul is always longing to return home.
A Glimpse Beyond My Work
I live in New Brunswick, where the ocean and river are never far away. When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me weight training, cooking something soulful, or walking my sheepdog/doodle in the woods. Water is my compass, creativity is my language, and curiosity keeps me forever learning.
Travel is one of my greatest teachers. I’ve wandered through Thailand, Paris, New York, and Oaxaca, each place offering its own story, its own pulse of magic. Every destination feels like a remembering — of spirit, mysticism, history, and community in its natural habitat. Next on my list: Costa Rica, India, and the South of France, each calling me in a different way.
My roots began in a Protestant Christian home, where I was lucky enough to have a philosopher as a pastor — someone who valued authenticity over rules. Though I left the church in 2010, I never left Jesus or the story of Christ Consciousness. Today, I walk as interfaith, with the heart of a yogi and a reverence for the multiplicity found in Hinduism and Sikhism. Rather than narrowing faith, I’m committed to widening it — to making more space for mystery, story, and spirit.
Creativity is my language. The elements, my experiences, and the stories I encounter weave together in how I live and work. Life, suffering, redemption, and recovery are my muses. Sometimes that takes the form of writing; other times, it’s art made through human connection. At my core, I am both seeker and guide — always learning, always creating, always opening to what the path has to teach.
